Casa OITO, designed by ARCHITECTS OFFICE in collaboration with LAR Identidade, is a model country house situated in the rural surroundings of São Paulo. Under construction in the Fazenda Boa Vista and Fazenda da Grama residential condominiums, the project comprises five single-family houses centered around a courtyard, emphasizing a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor spaces through the use of concrete, stone, vegetation, and wood.
Casa OITO was designed to be a model country house, emerging from the desire to create architecture that harmonizes with its rural surroundings. This project was designed by ARCHITECTS OFFICE in collaboration with LAR Identidade.
Currently under construction in the two main residential condominiums in the interior of São Paulo, Fazenda Boa Vista, and Fazenda da Grama, this development comprises five single-family houses. These houses are organized around a central courtyard, featuring five suites with private decks, a social terrace, integrated living and dining rooms with the kitchen, and an outdoor veranda. Furthermore, a 77m² leisure annex includes a sauna, changing rooms, and a complete gourmet space.
The design emphasizes a polished monolithic aesthetic. Unlike Casa Pedra, the first project signed for LAR Identidade, Casa OITO incorporates concrete, stone, vegetation, and wood—a noble, sensual material. The choice of straightforward, authentic materials blurs the boundaries between the exterior and interior spaces through subtle sensory cues.
The house gradually integrates with its surroundings using architectural and design elements such as variable high ceilings and strategically placed openings that frame views and enhance connectivity. The central courtyard immerses residents in nature, organizing the living spaces, connecting with the upper terrace, and leading to pathways with natural ventilation and lighting.
The layout promotes a seamless living experience, with social and private spaces delineated by windows and slight floor level differences, reflecting the residence’s delicate design nuances. The pergola on the veranda filters sunlight, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, emphasizing the passage of time.
Casa OITO results in an elegant home, elevated above a large setback plateau, appearing to float on the site. It offers an alternating atmosphere of intimacy and communal living, closely connected to the rural landscape, as envisioned by ARCHITECTS OFFICE for LAR Identidade.
