The House in Jardim Paulistano by André Vainer Arquitetos is an outbuilding that complements an existing residence on the same lot, with its facade facing a different street and an independent entrance. It includes individual studies, a rehearsal room, a recording studio, a scullery, bathrooms, offices, and a sauna that opens to a garden between the buildings. Positioned close to the street to maximize garden space, the structure connects to the main house via a catwalk on the second story. The top floor features a roof garden and an observatory. Constructed from concrete, it incorporates prefabricated slabs, ceramic block masonry, painted aluminum frames, and flooring of polished concrete and wood.
This building serves as a complement to a residence and is situated on the same lot, directly behind the main house. Its facade faces a different street, providing an independent entrance.
The arrangement is straightforward, comprising individual studies, a rehearsal room, a recording studio, a scullery, and bathrooms. Furthermore, this new outbuilding includes offices and a sauna that opens onto the garden located between the buildings.
In compliance with property setback regulations, the building is positioned as close to the street as possible, while still allowing for a spacious garden area between the structures.
A catwalk connects the second stories of the two buildings, linking the recording studio to the office in the new outbuilding.
The top stories feature a roof garden and an observatory.
The structure is constructed from concrete, utilizing prefabricated slab systems and ceramic block masonry. The door and window frames are crafted from painted aluminum, and the flooring alternates between polished concrete and wood. The building features a monochromatic paint finish.
