Copas House, designed by PPAA in Valle de Bravo, integrates seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Completed in 2023, the project emphasizes an open upper floor connecting with the treetops, enhancing the natural essence and views. The residence adapts to the site’s topography with minimal excavation, elevating public spaces while ensuring privacy in the lower-level bedrooms.
Located in Valle de Bravo, Copas House by PPAA stems from a deep respect for the natural environment. The main design goal was to create an open upper floor that connects directly with the surrounding treetops, which shape the atmosphere and views throughout the house.
The residence adapts to the natural topography by absorbing the slope with minimal excavation. Public spaces are elevated one level above the ground, featuring a series of platforms that integrate with nature.
The upper floor’s open design directly connects with the treetops, establishing the project’s essence and enhancing the house’s atmosphere and views.
The first floor houses the bedrooms, ensuring privacy and quietness. The house’s concept evokes climbing a mountain, revealing breathtaking views as one ascends.
