Bentini Headquarters designed by PIUARCH in Faenza, Italy, serves as the administrative and operational hub for Bentini Building and Engineering. Completed in 2011, the building integrates flexibility with a well-organized floor plan. The top floor is accessible to residents for events and conferences, fostering community engagement. The structure features a unique street-side facade with angled solar filters, creating dynamic views, and a glass rear facade maintaining continuity with the surrounding farmland.
The headquarters is situated in a sparsely populated area characterized by farmland. The building’s linear volume is set back from the road and designed to the highest quality standards, offering flexible interior spaces and a straightforward floor plan across different levels.
The street-side facade features a modular grid of angled solar filters over a continuous glass ace, dividing it into rectangular compartments of varying sizes. This design creates a perception of constant transformation, influenced by the viewer’s position and light, generating dynamic views of the interior activities.
The rear facade, entirely in glass, ensures strong visual continuity with the surrounding countryside. Despite their differences, both facades emphasize transparency-screened on the street side and open to the landscape at the rear.
This design approach blends the building with its environment, providing a functional space for Bentini’s operations while engaging with the local community.
