Anchorena, designed by Proyecto C, is situated in La Lucila, featuring a concrete volume with a four-meter lateral setback. This design allows for four units per floor on the first three floors and six duplex units on the top two floors. The building showcases an open expression of its concrete structure, with elongated front and rear units, terraced expansions with individual barbecues, and playful circulation spaces. The ground floor includes 19 parking spaces and common services, with a meticulous design that incorporates circular light grooves and a wooden fence/gate for controlled permeability.

The project is located in La Lucila, featuring a site with a double facade. A concrete volume is developed with a four-meter lateral setback, enabling the creation of four units per floor on the first three floors and six duplex units on the fourth and fifth floors.

The front and rear units are elongated with two bedrooms, incorporating three window panes and three rails for seamless integration of the exterior with the apartment’s social area. Units facing the side setback have terraced expansions with individual barbecues.

The building’s concrete structure is left exposed, showcasing a play of cantilevers, solids, voids, and Venetian mosaic-clad depressions. Tensions are created between non-touching brackets and beams. Aluminum windows and a steel railing encase the three facades. Two patios in the party wall enable semi-covered circulation on each floor. This circulation incorporates playful graphic design elements, featuring large fonts and green contrasting against the party wall’s black textured plaster.

The open ground floor is given meticulous architectural treatment, including 19 parking spaces and common services at the rear (swimming pool, sundeck, and changing room). A set of circular beds provides privacy within the interior of the block. The ceiling features circular light grooves that mirror the beds’ diameters, creating a cohesive design in the horizontal plane. Towards the street, a wooden fence/gate offers controlled permeability. Over time, this wooden element is expected to blend seamlessly with the concrete aesthetic of the project.
