Alegre House, a residential building designed by Jorge Vidal in Eivissa, transforms an existing concrete structure into a harmonious living space. The renovation emphasizes connectivity between interior and exterior, using materials like Ibiza stone and local wood to infuse Mediterranean sensuality. Completed in 2014, the 803 m² house incorporates design elements that enhance the relationship between the home and its natural surroundings.
The Alegre House, designed by Jorge Vidal, is a renovation of an existing concrete structure. This project aimed to open the interior to foster a closer connection between inside and outside spaces.
The pines wood and the house coexist harmoniously within the same landscape. The ground floor includes the main living areas, while the first floor houses the main room and the living room.
The project’s central idea is to bring the sensuality of the Mediterranean Sea inside the house. Material selection was crucial, incorporating Ibiza stone and local wood to achieve this effect.
