Delving into Mangiarotti-designed Modena headquarters

Sharp lines, stark façades and muted tones are at the aesthetic core of leading Italian ceramics house Mutina. Celebrating ten years since the brand’s first foray into exceptional ceramic-tile production and to mark this moment of historical disturbance, director Albert Moya takes us on a tour through their bustling Angelo Mangiarotti-designed Modena headquarters.

Collaborating with industry leaders including Konstantin Grcic, Yael Mer, Patricia Urquiola and creative duo Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, the brand’s research-led approach is first and foremost informed by facets of contemporary art, crystallised here in Everything Begins with an Interruption.
