Like the magazine itself, the awards are multi-disciplinary, recognizing the inter-connectedness of architecture, landscape, interiors and product design. Assisted by the editors of AZURE, a panel of international experts drawn from each of the disciplines meets together to review the submissions and choose the winners. The 2012 AZ Awards program is open to work completed before December 31, 2011.

Jury:
The AZ Awards are juried by a panel of experts. Last year’s inaugural awards brought together an internationally renowned jury – landscape architect Claude Cormier, Snøhetta co-founder Craig Dykers, industrial designer Patty Johnson, Swedish architect Eero Koivisto and Glenn Pushelberg, of interior design firm Yabu Pushelberg. From more than 600 entries arriving from 25 countries, the jury selected 52 finalists and 14 winners. The public voted online to select the People’s Choice winners in each category. The jury for the 2012 awards will be announced in January.
