N.B.S. Touristic Harbour by AQUILIALBERG

N.B.S Touristic Harbour is a proposal for an homogeneous whole with a mixed used destination. The concept is focused around architecture of water and nature uniqueness.

Location: Lido di Jesolo (VE)
Client: Private investor
Phase: Feasibility study / Sketch design
Area: 2650 sqm
Year: 2007
Design team: Ergian Alberg, Laura Aquili, Christian Ronchi
Visualization: AquiliAlberg - Dimitar Karanikolov

The location and the surrounding of this site are very special and unique, just off the sea, along the river. The main request from the investor is to transform the site in a homogeneous whole with a mixed used destination. Due to the prominent and rare location the new Marina will offer a very exclusive place. Therefore the project will be characterized by a very strong and distinctive image.

The concept is focus on the translation into architecture of water and nature uniqueness. The project is in fact dialoguing directly with the water inviting, as entered the site, to go towards the river. The main building on the right side interconnects a landscaping roof with a public bar, a ground floor parking and an upper floor 2 storeys housing block.

It is a unique gesture interrelated with the whole site. The dynamic rotation of the upper part is generated by the orientation towards the open sea. The fluid and sculptured lower part generates a public area around the Marina. The SPA/Wellness building with a roof restaurant is located on the street side. Its orientation generates a more intimate space inside the Marina and protects the site from noise and traffic.
